The third and final leg of the 1.5-mile stretch concludes this Thursday night under the lights at Kansas Speedway with the Super Start Batteries 400. We’ll then go through the entire month of August without hitting one of these “cookie cutter” tracks. Kansas is similar to Texas and Kentucky, the last two tracks we visited, in that it is 1.5-miles in length and was recently repaved and reconfigured. The fall 2012 event was the first race on the “new” Kansas.
