Starting Lineup for Martinsville 2

Martinsville speedway is a half-mile short track that we’re going to put 38 race cars on on Sunday, which means one thing: track position is important. The leaders will start lapping cars very quickly on restarts Sunday, so a good qualifying effort is an important piece of success at this track. We last raced here back in March, and one thing to note from that event was that eight of the top 10 finishers started 10th or better, with the other two starting 13th and 17th that day.
