The much anticipated ROVAL race is this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This is the third and final road course race of the season. Track position is one of the most important keys to success at this track type, so obviously a good qualifying effort is going to help teams heading into race day. Looking back at the other road course races this season, five of the top 10 finishers at Sonoma also started there, while six of the ten made that statistic true at Watkins Glen. Both of those races were won by a driver starting inside the top 8.
The starting positions below are final and official. Any driver that went to a backup car and has to start from the rear on Sunday will still be scored from where they’re shown below.
