Starting Lineup for the Darlington Bojangles’ Southern 500

After showing a ton of speed in both practice sessions here at Darlington on Friday, William Byron completed the “trifecta” of poles, as he adds the Southern 500 to his list after winning the pole for both the Daytona 500 and Coca-Cola 600 this year. Byron is just the third driver in Cup Series history to accomplish that, joining “Fireball” Roberts and Bill Elliott.

This weekend’s race at Darlington is an impound race, but inspection has already been completed. The starting lineup shown below is official and starting positions will not change.
