Finally, the starting positions of this year’s Great American Race are set.
First, we had Daytona 500 qualifying last weekend, but that only officially set the top two positions. The Hendrick Motorsports teammates of William Byron and Alex Bowman claimed those spots and will lead the field to the green on Sunday for the 61st running of the Daytona 500.
We then had two Duel races on Thursday night to determine the inside and outside lines for the start of Sunday’s big race. The results of those two races, as well as brief recaps, can be found by clicking here.
