Important Notes: This first practice session was ran at 8:30 AM, which decreases its significance quite a bit. In fact, the FS1 crew spent the first five minutes of the broadcast explaining how teams wouldn’t learn much from this session. Two cars didn’t make it on to the track in this session: Bayley Currey and Timmy Hill. At the end of the broadcast, it was mentioned that Clint Bowyer had the best 20- and 30-lap averages but the full charts weren’t posted.
