Phoenix is the site of this weekend’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race, or ISM Raceway if you’re being technically correct. For some reason, the name ISM Raceway hasn’t really caught on, and everyone still calls this place Phoenix, so we’ll stick with that. Anyway, Phoenix is still the same track despite the name change, and it’s a one-mile flat track. This means it compares nicely with Richmond as well as New Hampshire. So with the first Phoenix race, the two Richmond races, and the New Hampshire event this season, we’ve got four races to analyze for comparison’s sake.
This week, I’m going to do something a little different with this post. Admittedly, Phoenix is nowhere near my best track from a NASCAR Fantasy DFS perspective. In fact, I’d argue it’s my worst track on the schedule, and my DraftKings losses over the years backs that up. So instead of providing what would probably end up being unreliable projections, I’m just going to post the data I’m using this week. Take it for what it’s worth, and sit back and enjoy the race–that’s what I’m going to do anyway.
