Important Notes: Wind was one main thing the teams had to deal with this practice session, as it was blowing between 18-20 mph during this morning session. Also during this practice, Kyle Larson got into the wall, but the damage wasn’t enough to send him to a backup car. He got into the wall while racing alongside Denny Hamlin, who stayed in the garage for the first 20+ minutes of this practice. It’s worth noting that temperatures were significantly lower during this practice than they will be in the race on Sunday. It was noted on the broadcast that Kyle Busch had the best 15-lap average but FS1 didn’t show that full chart.
