Question: I am having problems making my selections over the Internet - what should I do?
Answer: The single biggest reason people have difficulty over the Internet is due to outdated software. Our web site is very cutting edge in its technology and in order to take advantage of the improvements you have to be sure you are using the most current versions of the available browsers (Internet Explorer 5.0, Netscape 4.08, and AOL 5.0 for Windows 95/98/00). The second thing to look at is whether you are accepting "cookies". A cookie is a piece of information that the web site stores on your computer for future reference. Once you have entered your ID and password into the login screens, the info is stored as a cookie in your machine for use in the following pages. If you are not accepting the cookie, the following pages can't find the information they are looking for, which will then force you back to the login screen. To remedy this, go into your browser's options and make sure the option for accepting cookies in enabled, then restart your machine. If this still does not fix the problem, please contact your tech support people at your Internet Service Provider.

Question: What happens if I want to play in your FULL SEASON contest but I didn't signup in time until after the season already started?
Answer: You're in luck! We incorporated a NEW (modified) RULE this 2003 season where we will throw out your 8 worst races - we call these "throw-away races". The throw-away races begin at the start of the season however (2/16/03). For example, if you register later in the season (for example, 4 races into the season) you can still compete in the full season contest but 4 of your throw-away races will have been exhausted. In other words, we take your best 28 race results out of the 36 races during the Winston Cup season.

Question: Do you have something in place where I can compete against my friends, family or workmates?
Answer: Yes, you will find a feature called "team tracking" available through our contest pages that offers this option. This would be after login.

Question: What happens if I cannot select my drivers for a given race?
Answer: Although it is recommended that players have access to the internet during the season, we have a viable solution for players that fall into this category. We have built a "Auto Insurance Option" that allows us to make your driver selections in your absence.

Question: How long have you been running your Fantasy Racing Online Challenge? Answer: In 2000, we launched our inagural Fantasy Racing Challenge Contest. We researched the competition and concluded that most NASCAR sites featuring "Fantasy-related" contests ran (similar) games and typically for a price that was too high. After our development and test phase with "real racing" statistics, we implemented a BETA contest midway through the season. The results were oustanding. With virtually no advertising, word of mouth spread and our contest soon became a favorite among active Fantasy Racing enthusiasts. Now, with two full years of database enhancements, added contest features, and interest from the Fantasy Racing community, we are set to go.

Question: Your entry fee of $69.99 seems high, how did you arrive at this fee?
Answer: Let us answer this in two parts: 1) we have researched the competition and found that our entry fee is well below industry average. The prizes are more attainable and the reliability and service is outstanding, 2) the $69.99 covers ALL races, this is a little over $1.00 PER RACE. Each race is treated like a new contest with fresh prizes and a chance to WIN $500 per race. We have weekly race prizes as well as overall prizes of up to $15,000 tree for players competing for the entire series.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can save $10.00 off each entry by signing up early! Early Deadline is 1/17/03.

Question: What is the "Auto Insurance Option"?
Answer: The Auto Insurance option works like this: Our program will pick your 5 drivers staying within the $1,000,000 salary cap. This option insures that your keep yourself in the running for the end of season Overall Prizes. You will receive 2 drivers that are ranked (1-5), 2 drivers ranked (6-20) and 1 driver ranked higher than 20.

Question: Do I have to select a new set of 5 drivers each race?
Answer: Yes, each week you will be required to select a new team of 5 drivers. These 5 drivers can be the same five (if the salaries are still within the salary cap) or you may pick new drivers. But, it is required that you re-submit a new driver lineup. They are not carried forward. This is an interactive contest which requires participation. However, if you think there will be races where it might be hard to make your selections, the "Auto Insurance Option" is a nice option. The cost is only $5.00 for this service.

Question: Do your Driver Salaries change?
Answer: Yes, but only occassionally. Dollar Values are roughly based on Winston Cup Standings and are periodically updated throughout the season. They will only be updated prior to a new race - never after players begin selecting their drivers.

Question: Is there a lot of ties, if so, how are they broken?
Answer: This was one of our enhancements. There will NEVER be a tie! Our TIEBREAKER is as follows: 1. Closest to the Actual number of "Lead Changes" during the Race. 2. Closest to the Actual number of "Cautions" during the Race. 3. Whoever picked first (or the actual time your final list of drivers was compiled). Number 3 assures that there will never be ties!
